Adding your card to Apple Pay is easy. Here’s how to get started:

iPhone

  • Open the Wallet app
  • Tap the plus sign in the upper-right corner
  • Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account.
  • Or, select Add a different card and use your camera to enter the card information*

Apple Watch

  • Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
  • Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add a Credit or Debit Card
  • Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account.
  • Or, select Add a different card and use your camera to enter the card information*

iPad

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap Wallet & Apple Pay and select Add Credit or Debit Card
  • Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card from your iTunes account.
  • Or, select Add a different card and use your camera to enter the card information*

When you add your Australian Mutual Bank Visa Debit Card to Apple Pay, the card will be defaulted to the Visa network for payments with Apple Pay; however you can also access all the benefits of the eftpos payment network on Apple Pay. On eftpos network members can get cash out using Apple Pay. Cardholders will need to ensure that the eftpos SAV or eftpos CHQ payment network is selected for the cash out transaction to be processed successfully.

If you’re on the go or without your phone or wallet, you can still shop at your favorite stores or pay for public transport - anywhere contactless payments are accepted. Plus, your card information is never shared with retailers or Fitbit, so it stays private.

You may add up to 6 credit or debit cards to your wallet in the Fitbit app.

Where can I use Fitbit Pay?

Use Fitbit Pay to make purchases at any store that accepts contactless payments or pay for public transport on participating transit systems.

Using Fitbit Pay is easy. Here’s how to get started:

  • Open the Fitbit app on your phone and navigate to your watch or tracker settings.
  • Tap Fitbit Wallet and follow the instructions to add your card.
  • If you haven’t created a PIN code for your watch or tracker, you will be asked to set one.
  • Enter your card details and billing information. Your card details will be sent securely to your bank for verification.
  • You’ll be prompted to accept the terms and conditions. (You may also be asked to complete further identity verification.)
  • Once you’re done, Fitbit Pay will sync the activated card to your watch or tracker via Bluetooth.
  • Follow the tutorial on the display to learn how to use Fitbit Pay at checkout.

That’s it! You're ready to make purchases from your watch or tracker.

  • Navigate to Wallet on your device and put your screen near the NFC enabled payment terminal.
  • If prompted, enter your 4-digit watch PIN code.
  • After your card appears on the screen, hold your wrist near the payment terminal. When the payment succeeds, your watch or tracker vibrates and you’ll see a confirmation on the screen.
  • If the payment terminal doesn’t recognize Fitbit Pay, make sure the watch or tracker face is near the reader and that the cashier knows you’re using a contactless payment.
